Ok, I just found out through Cartoon Network Latin America a contest to win an animation scholarship to study in Argentina, a school that's affiliated to Hook Up Animation. Looking through their webpage, I see they work a lot with CN, oh God...
The contest entries will be accepted until June 30, I gotta start working on a portfolio, oh god oh god oh god.
If there are stuff from my gallery that you think are worth sending PLEASE tell me!!!
Thank you
Just from getting my portfolio reviewed so many times....
If you're going to try for animation, you should give them anything that show good understanding of sequence for animation.
even if it's someone walking around a room, if the weight and position of body movement is good, it'll work.
the other thing is things with a lot of background, and you have a figure sitting in the background. If you understand angles, and how a character will look from extreme high shots, low shots, etc, that's always a plus.
Good luck. Argentina seems schweeeeet!
as soon as i'm done with finals (ALMOST THERE!!!) I'll have to get to work on some new stuff
o sea, simòn XD
and i think your color series is good because the pieces are nice enough stand alone and together show that you can work in a series :3
GOOD LUCK!!! <3 <3
...
and then fix the reflex on the lantern XD
I really like that one, so it's most likely I'll be doing that
Thanks a lot for the advice
