Artist's Comments
This was inspired by a tradition by the buddhist monks in Myanmar. They carry the urns during a prosession in which they beg for their sustent. I doubt the Airbenders needed to beg (or if they did, maybe it was on top of the skybisons XP).
I was gonna color this digitally, but thought that would totally kill my wrist, so went for my beloved Chartpak Markers instead  AVATAR is (c) Nickelodeon |
